📦 Primary Purpose
The CDL Class A Driver plays a critical role in our distribution and supply chain operations. This position is responsible for the safe, timely delivery of grocery and perishable products to company stores, as well as the secure transport of backhaul freight to designated distribution centers. Drivers ensure all deliveries and returns are completed according to company standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest levels of safety, accuracy, and professionalism.
✅ Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer in accordance with company standards and DOT regulations.
- Assist with unloading deliveries at store locations as needed.
- Perform required pre-trip inspections per DOT Regulation 392.7.
- Maintain accurate delivery, pickup, and DOT documentation.
- Verify proper count, condition, and documentation of all loads, including backhauls, relay shipments, and for-hire freight.
- Inspect equipment to ensure it is safe and operational prior to use.
- Recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain compliance with safety, accuracy, and productivity standards.
✔ Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum 3 years of tractor-trailer experience.
- One year of experience may be waived for graduates of an approved truck-driving school.
- No moving violations within the past three years.
- Knowledge of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
- Ability to safely operate and inspect tractor-trailer equipment.
💪 Physical Requirements
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to store deliveries and freight handling.

- Comprehensive knowledge of DOT regulations.
- Excellent driving record and strong safety performance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
