Two Fat Cats bakery is looking for a seasonal, full-time pie baker to join our team at our 195 Lancaster Street location. This is a position that will work through December with potential for year-round, full-time work for the right candidate. Two Fat Cats is a small, but dynamic bakery with locations at 195 Lancaster Street in Bayside and 175 Spring Street in the West End. We specialize in rustic pastries and take particular pride in our pies which have earned a national reputation. This position works Monday - Friday. Most shifts are 12pm-7pm, although there is flexibility to start and end earlier on Mondays. We are looking for an experienced baker to work with the pie team to make pies for both bakery locations. This includes making pie fillings, prepping fruit, mixing, rolling and shaping dough, and finishing and baking pies. The ideal candidate must love baking and take pride in their work. Some professional baking experience, whether savory or sweet, is a preferred. Must be highly motivated and able to work as part of a team. Good communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, very busy environment is also a must.
