MOVERS WANTED – $20/HR + TIPS – SOUTH PORTLAND
S.B. Taylor Moving is hiring, but we are not looking for just anyone.
We are looking for dependable, hardworking people who take pride in showing up, communicating, working as a team, and treating customers and their belongings with respect.
Starting pay: $20/hour + tips
4-hour minimum pay per scheduled shift
Part-time / as-needed
Opportunities for more hours, long-distance travel, and growth
Moving experience is NOT required.
We are happy to train the right person and would rather train someone with a strong attitude and work ethic than bring in someone with habits that do not fit how we operate.
You may be a great fit if you:
Show up when you say you will
Communicate instead of disappearing
Are coachable and willing to learn
Can handle physical work and long days
Take care when handling other people’s belongings
Are respectful in customers’ homes
Work well with a crew
Can take direction without attitude

Have reliable transportation to our South Portland warehouse
Can pass a background check
Have flexibility for some weekends, early mornings, and travel
Hiring Process
A video interview is required for all applicants.
If you are not comfortable completing a video interview, please do not apply. Communication and professionalism are a major part of this job, and we want to actually meet the people we are considering for our team.

Have trouble communicating with your employer

Do not have reliable transportation
Are not comfortable working inside customers’ homes
Are only looking for a temporary job until something else comes along
Our team handles local moves, long-distance moves, packing, senior transitions, cleanouts, and other moving-related projects.
