Program OverviewThe HR Leadership Development Program is a full-time, three-year development experience designed to accelerate the growth of exceptional early-career professionals into future HR leaders. Through a combination of rotational assignments, formal learning, mentorship, leadership development, and project-based work, participants build the leadership capabilities, business acumen, and enterprise perspective needed to succeed in increasingly complex and influential roles.Participants spend approximately 80% of their time in departmental rotations and 20% in formal learning and development activities, including classroom learning, job shadowing, coaching, and leadership training.
What you'll do - Develop leadership capabilities through challenging assignments, coaching, feedback, and reflection.
- Complete three HR rotations while contributing to meaningful projects and business-critical work with visible organizational impact.
- Build influence and business partnership skills by collaborating with HR teams and leaders across MaineHealth.
- Develop relationships with care team members and leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrate increasing ownership, initiative, judgment, and influence throughout the program.
- Participate in formal learning and development experiences, including leadership training, job shadowing, performance discussions, and professional development activities.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Bachelors required. Post-graduate Human Resources related program with a strong preference for a Masters in HR or an MBA with HR concentration preferred. GPA should be 3.5 or higher.
- License/Certifications: N/A
- Experience: Previous experiences in Human Resources work preferred
- Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to demonstrate strong organizational, verbal and written skills. A high level of interpersonal skills necessary in order to deal with a wide variety of internal and external personnel in complex situations, from senior level to staff positions, and make presentations before groups.

Preferred Qualifications- Previous Human Resources experience through internships, employment, research, or other applied experiences.

The pay range for this position is $61,256.00to $82,867.20per year.
Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
