As an Area Manager, you'll oversee operations and management across multiple cleaning contracts in a designated geographic area, ensuring that every task meets our high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Operational Management
- Overseeing the day-to-day cleaning operations across multiple client sites within the designated area.
- Ensuring that cleaning services are delivered in accordance with contractual agreements and company standards.
Team Leadership
- Leading and motivating a team of supervisors and cleaning staff to achieve operational excellence and meet performance targets.
- Providing coaching, training, and performance management to ensure the development of a skilled and efficient workforce.
Client Relations
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborating with the sales and customer service teams to identify and pursue opportunities for upselling or cross-selling cleaning services.
Quality Assurance
- Implementing and monitoring quality control measures to ensure that cleaning services consistently meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Resource Management
- Managing resources effectively, including staffing levels, equipment, and supplies, to optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Health and Safety Compliance
- Ensuring that all cleaning operations comply with health and safety regulations and best practices, and taking proactive measures to minimize risks.
Reporting and Analysis
- Generating regular reports on operational performance, financial metrics, and client feedback, and using data analysis to drive continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the cleaning or facilities management industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of cleaning operations, quality control processes, and health and safety regulations.
- Effective organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a dynamic environment.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in cleaning management, health and safety, or similar areas are advantageous.
