Immediate opening available in a busy, thriving eye care practice in a southern coastal York County community.
We are seeking an energetic individual who is a team player and is able to multitask while delivering exceptional customer service in a respectful and professional manner.
The successful candidate will primarily support front office operations by…
· Obtaining vision and medical insurance authorizations and benefits
· Welcoming patients/customers upon arrival
· Checking patients in and out
· Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
· Preparing and updating patient electronic health records
· Answering multi-line phones and handling calls in an efficient and friendly manner
· Demonstrating the ability to multitask in a fast-paced high energy environment
· Providing warm face to face patient interaction and showing dedication to patient care
Requirements include:
· High School Diploma or higher
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Detail oriented
· Patient/Customer service oriented
· Experience working in a healthcare practice (eye care practice experience preferred)
· Solid computer skills
· Experience with electronic health care records and practice management systems (Officemate and Exam Writer experience a plus)
