· Diagnose and repair issues with diesel powered vehicles and equipment for business use equipment as well as rental equipment.
· Conduct routine maintenance such as diagnostic tests, fluid level checks, oil and filter changes, brake pad replacements, hose replacement, etc.
· Follow all manufacturer specification to ensure vehicle/equipment repairs are optimized and maintenance schedules followed.
· Develop and implement a comprehensive service/maintenance plan to perform routine maintenances on all vehicles and heavy equipment to reduce reactivity and ensure equipment is running efficiently and smoothly.
· Track the status of repairs, establishing a comprehensive list and view of each vehicle/equipment piece that has been maintained and serviced.
· Create and implement a new vehicle/equipment review checklist to ensure the company is investing in vehicles and equipment that provides positive value to the business.
· Occasionally transfer equipment between job sites as well as to rental customers.
· Other duties as requested.
Qualifications
· 3-5 years experience in maintaining and repairing diesel powered vehicles and equipment primarily, as well as smaller, gas powered equipment such as chainsaws, mowers, and generators.
· Successfully completed a post-secondary training program in diesel mechanics is a plus!
-Class A or B commercial driving license not required but a plus.
· Strong communication and customer service skills are preferred. You are the face of the company when dealing with rental customers and vendors.
· Strong organization skills and attention to detail are a must.
· Ability to lift up to 50lbs or more.
· Clean driving record.
· This is a 1099 position.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
