Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Master I & E Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough knowledge of industrial circuitry, equipment, motors, generators, and controls along with extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of these components.
Responsibilities
· Safely performs all work in accordance with the Company’s Safety Policy and Job Safety Procedures.
· Make manual adjustments to the steam boilers while servicing the equipment.
· Has working knowledge of industrial switch gear, transformers, and MCC’s.
· Installs, inspects, repairs, and maintains electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
· Familiar with NEC standards and regulations.
· Has the ability to design, specify and order material to independently build electrical support systems.
· Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
· Needs a basic understanding of PLC controls and operations.
· Has knowledge of analog communication and electro-pneumatic controls.
· Must follow practices of cGMP and food safety standards when entering ammonium sulfate production and packaging areas. This includes an obligation to report any concerns with the Food Safety Management System.
Certifications / Licenses
· Maine High Pressure Boiler Operator License (Company will provide training)
· 2 Year Degree or Certificate – Industrial Electrical & Instrument Training
· Master Electrician or Journeyman
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $64,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
