Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our Shovel and Spoon team as a Dishwasher/Production Assistant. This position involves a combination of dishwashing duties and supporting production operations. We are looking for someone with food handling experience, but we are also willing to train the right person who is motivated to learn. This role revolves around the in house production of our products, but there is always the opportunity to evolve with our growing company. Essentially, we are seeking a dynamic team player that is willing to adapt and evolve with Shovel & Spoon!
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize kitchenware, utensils, and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment.
- Assist in production tasks as needed, including packaging, labeling, and material handling.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative work attitude.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Reporting Structure:
This role reports directly to the Production Manager
Commitment + Compensation:
Monday - Wednesday onsite production shifts along with miscellaneous/flexible tasks as agreed upon with employer/employee. $18-$22 per hour. Paid Time Off. Free/discounted products.
