*Job Overview*
32 Year Export Management company with +/-30 staff has been poorly tended by previous staff Accountants. We seek a sincere, able and willing person to take control of our accounting systems and assume responsibility for all financial operations. We operate without debt service and value family over any other need.
We are offering a generous signing bonus to the successful candidate, as well as bonuses for attaining currency in operations, and year-end.
This position could be labelled Chief Financial Officer or Financial Systems Analyst, as you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the company's financial health and compliance. A competent, self-managing Assistant is in place and keeps daily operations flowing smoothly at the granular level. That being said, this position does involve activity at that granular level that a CFO may not typically not delve.
*Duties*
- Execute financial operations of two companies, one in Maine, one in Bermuda with two subsidiaries.
- Implement financial strategies to drive the company's financial planning
- Lead financial reporting and analysis to support decision-making processes
- Manage financial risks, including cost management
- Ensure compliance with international regulations
- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and procedures
- Lead the Accounting team with effective leadership skills

- Success taking on new challenges that have required significant attention and time investment in order to grasp and become proficient.
- Proven experience in financial report writing and analysis
- Strong background in revenue management and cost control
- Expertise in financial management practices

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
