Freightliner - Western Star Of Maine is seeking enthusiastic, organized, and hard-working individuals to join our team. From Fort Kent to Westbrook we have the state covered. We are looking for motivated trailer technicians to perform all service mechanical trailer repairs. If you want to grow your skills and invest in a Company that will invest in you, we are for you. Responsibilities:
- Examine trailers to diagnose repairs
- Communication with Service Writer
- Documenting all work performed
- Attending and successfully completing factory training as required
- Has prior experience in commercial trailers.
- Is open to overtime, as needed.
- Is detailed oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Is proficient in mechanical systems (electrical, hydraulics, etc.).
- Has a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Has road tech experience with the ability to repair lights, wiring, door, cables, hinges
- Has the ability to communicate with our dealerships to schedule shop work as needed
Requirements:
- Own hand tools
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Knowledge in electrical and computer diagnostics of heavy trailers
- State Inspection is a plus
- Be able to perform basic PM maintenance and parts replacement.
