Job description
§ Assistance on US GAAP accounting on a cash and accrual basis for US clients, and preparation of month-end and year-end Financial Statements and Accounting Reports.
§ Record and reconciliation transactions with client documentation, invoices, contracts, etc.
§ Prepare asset, liability, and journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
§ Prepare schedules, such as, deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, etc.
§ Assist with developing processes to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts, defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
§ Compile comprehensive reports with accounting and compliance teams, as needed.
§ Perform other tasks as assigned.
§ Reviews vendor IRS form W-9s for completeness and prepare IRS Form 1099s for all eligible vendors/independent contractors and file appropriate reports with the IRS.
§ Payroll knowledge helpful.

Qualifications
§ Experience with QuickBooks Online mandatory.
§ Previous bookkeeping experience required.
§ Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas preferred.
§ Intermediate experience with Outlook Excel, Word, and other Office 365 applications.
§ Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
§ Accurate data entry skills with great attention to detail.
§ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns.
§ Ability to multitask in a stressful environment with specific deadlines and work independently in a time-sensitive environment.
§ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
§ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
§ High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate's degree in accounting or a related field is preferred.
