We are looking to a Cannabis Trimmer to add to our team! The Trimmer will assist with processing and packaging tasks in our Fairfield, Maine grow facility.
A Trimmer's primary responsibilities include handling cannabis and preparing it for sale. You should also be prepared to process raw cannabis flower into finished products like pre-rolls.
To be successful as a Trimmer with Maple Valley Pharms, you should pride yourself on your efficiency, adherence to standards and attention to detail. Ultimately, an outstanding Trimmer should be able to demonstrate clean work habits and will regularly produce consistent visual results in a timely fashion.
Trimmer Responsibilities:
- Preparing Cannabis flower for retail sale.
- Inspecting flower for quality.
- Maintaining visual continuity of trim between strains.
- Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required.
- Maintaining and reporting accurate product weight and counts.
- Processing raw materials into finished products.
- Ensuring that the processing area is clean and well-organized at all times.
- Taking inventory of cannabis products and ensuring their proper handling and storage.
- Other duties as assigned
Trimmer Requirements:
- MUST BE 21+
- Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and classifications.
- Ability to identify various parts of the Cannabis plant, and understand how to properly separate and sort them.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Upholds facility cleanliness standards.
- Ability to maintain focus on repetitive tasks.
- Diligent completion of assigned work with little supervision.
- Effective communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Current Drivers License.
- Maine Resident.
