We are seeking reliable Winter Snow Operators to join our team for the upcoming winter season. As a Winter Snow Operator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safe and accessible roads, parking lots, and other facilities during snow and ice events. This position requires skilled operation of snow removal equipment, as well as a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Position Type: Part time/on call/seasonal
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate snow removal equipment, including plow trucks, loaders, and skid steers, to clear snow and ice from roadways and properties.
- Be available to report to work when called in during snow/ice event.
- Collaborate with team members and Snow Manager
- Report any hazards, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous experience operating heavy machinery or snow removal equipment
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays during winter storms
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
