Our Special Education team is in search of a dynamic problem-solver with a sense of humor and the ability to stay focused on the goal of meeting the needs of students with disabilities and their families. This is an Administrative Assistant position located in the District’s Special Education office. The successful applicant will possess strong interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, the ability to multi-task, be a team player, and work independently in a busy office atmosphere. The ability to work efficiently, confidentially, and in an organized manner are essential. The successful applicant must be familiar with office equipment, use word processing programs efficiently, communicate effectively and positively via email, on the phone, and in person, and be skilled in technology usage including Google, Microsoft and Apple programs, and student data systems. Knowledge and experience with special education regulations and timelines is preferred, but not required.
