Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Aided Design Drafter at THE FITCH COMPANY. The right candidate will have their choice of working in our Rumford, Gray or Bangor, Maine office. We are willing to train the right candidate that may not have any drafting experience but has the drive and willingness to learn how to utilize CAD software and the basics of electrical drafting. A strong ability to communicate with others and work in a team environment is a must. This position requires an individual to work on multiple projects at the same time, and time management will be key to their success.
Qualifications
· Working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred but will train the right candidate.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
· Detail oriented with strong listening and communication skills.
· The ability to work in a team environment or independently.
· Analytical and problem solving skills.
· Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately.
· Must be open to occasional overnight travel should a need arise.
· Must have valid drivers license
· Must successfully complete drug screening and background check, including 7-year criminal history check and Motor Vehicle Record check
