We are looking for a Community Relations & Event Marketing Specialist acting as a BBB Brand Ambassador to represent us in the northern area of Maine. The 32 hour work week schedule is flexible to accommodate evening and weekend shifts. We offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes:

The Community Relations & Event Marketing Specialist will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and community driven. This position requires someone that possesses a positive attitude, a readiness to be a team player, and the ability to work independently. Essential responsibilities of the Community Relations & Event Marketing Specialist include, but are not limited to:

Initiate, plan and attend events in the community and at businesses, reaching out where people live, work and shop
Attend and exhibit at trade shows, farmer’s markets, expos and similar events throughout the northern area of Maine acting as a BBB Brand Ambassador
Event set-up and breakdown
Occasional public speaking events
Manage events calendar
Coordinate event logistics
Track event budget for all event marketing initiatives

The Community Relations & Event Marketing Specialist will be driving a BBB Branded vehicle and must have a safe, secure place to park it.

The ideal candidate will:

Be proficient with Google platforms
Possess excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
Be friendly and personable with an outgoing personality
Possess a valid driver’s license with clean driving record and a comfort level driving in all types of weather
Have the availability to work some evenings, weekends, and overnights
Be able to lift up to 60 lbs
