We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and educating clients about our wide range of cannabis products. Your expertise will help customers make informed decisions while ensuring compliance with all regulations. You will be the face of our dispensary, creating a welcoming environment for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting cannabis products that meet their needs.
- Provide detailed information about product strains, effects, and consumption methods.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations regarding sales and inventory management.
- Assist in stocking shelves and organizing product displays to enhance the shopping experience.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on new products and consumption techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary to create a pleasant atmosphere for customers.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred, with an emphasis on customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math is required for accurate transactions.
- Experience in supervising staff or working in a grocery store environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of cannabis products or previous experience as a budtender is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
