Position Summary:
The Marketing Specialist will create and design content for multiple mediums, including email, website landing pages, blog articles, press releases, annual reports, and more. This role is cross-functional and will work with marketers, designers, and business line partners to help bring our messaging to life for our employees, communities and customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement marketing projects in support of the firm's key strategic initiatives and business goals in addition to day-to-day support of brand awareness, customer acquisition, customer and employee engagement.
- Develop and execute visually creative print, digital, and social marketing assets and collateral to support promotions, campaigns, and events.
- Create and review copywriting material, including website messaging, email copy, blog posts, press releases, product marketing materials, and external advertising copy.
- Track newsworthy research and events for news releases and feature stories and develop pitching and distribution strategy and tracks results.
- Enhance employee engagement through strong internal communications and events.
- Develop, manage, and execute a strategic social media plan to reach target audiences.
- Assist with coordinating company donations, including reporting, tracking, and promoting community related efforts.
- Provide support in organizing, promoting and executing community sponsorships.
- Listen, ask questions, and filter requests for marketing support through the appropriate channels.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience
- 4-year degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Advertising, or related field
- Experience developing copy and creative materials from inception through completion
- Experience using graphic design tools (specifically Adobe Creative Suite)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
- Team player who collaborates well cross-functionally with key internal partners
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication, writing and listening skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
- Ability to flex writing style to reach audiences through different types of mediums
- Graphic design skills
- Outstanding collaboration skills
- Project management skills
