Position Summary:
We are seeking a Loan Servicing Associate to join our growing Loan Servicing team! The Loan Servicing Associate will deliver the best banking experience by providing support to our loan customers, the various residential and commercial lending departments, the Special Assets Group, and Banking Centers throughout the organization. This position is responsible for responding to all inquiries that come into the department through various channels including telephone, email, CRM, and chat. The essential functions are noted below; however, at Camden National responsibilities may evolve over time given organization, technological and/or staffing changes. At any point, other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promote strong and lasting customer relationships by providing quality service in an efficient and highly professional manner.
- Perform appropriate account research, including the use of electronic and paper records to address customer inquiries.
- Acquire and maintain a thorough knowledge of all loan products, services, systems, and processes.
- Take ownership of concerns and follow through to resolution. Striving to provide one-call resolution whenever possible.
- Process maintenance, transactions, and disbursements as needed to support processes and/or to resolve customer inquiries.
- Prepare & provide loan payoff quotes.
- Quality control all residential and consumer loans on the Bank’s core system.
- Process loan modifications, account maintenance, etc. by accurately updating the Bank’s core system.
- Interact harmoniously and effectively with others, focusing upon the attainment of bank goals and objectives through a commitment to teamwork.
- Respond positively to changing work demands in a faced paced environment.
- Identify and recognize when escalation is needed in order to improve the client’s experience. Refer calls to appropriate individual, banking center or department when necessary.
- Cross train and serve as a back-up in other areas of the department as required.
- Identify opportunities to innovate and process improve with the customer top of mind.
- Process collateral releases on paid loans.
- File, continue and terminate UCC statements.
- Multi-task and maintain a high level of organization to meet daily and monthly deadlines; especially during month-end activities.
- Posting loan payments and processing loan payoffs through the core system.
- Provides assistance to Loan Servicing Specialists in maintaining escrow accounts; obtains and updates homeowners insurance and property tax information, performs quality control of escrow accounts
- Complete reconciliations of Loan Servicing general ledger and deposit accounts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Effectively use technology to perform daily activities and service customers
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment and independently
- Collaborate with team members to complete department functions effectively
- Top-notch attention to detail skills to maintain the highest level of accuracy when handling daily functions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining organization, attention to detail, and effective prioritization.
- Maintain a level of discretion and confidentiality while dealing with sensitive customer information
