Looking for a RN with strong leadership skills and out going personality and can build a strong team consisting of charge nurses RN and LPN, Med-Techs and CNAs and unit aids at times. The Skilled Unit Manager is responsible for A wing and B wing for residents requiring skilled rehab and some LTC residents. We promote a family type atmosphere, and promote staff resident interaction thru normal days and also special functions involving everyone for holidays and just for fun days. We have new shift differentials, sign on bonus.
Skilled Nurse Manager:
The nurse manager will be responsible for creating and managing an environment of care focused on the patients, defining and elevating standards for patient care, training new staff; and providing leadership for everyone on the nursing team.

Education and Experience
Education: Must possess, as a minimum, a State of Maine Nursing license
Experience: Demonstrated knowledge and experience sufficient to perform all duties with excellence
Leadership: Strong leadership aptitude or experience
Skills and Abilities
* Knowledge and use of Electronic Medical Records and/or solid computer skills
* Strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally
* Effective leadership skills and/or ability to invest in growing this skill
* Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
