Your duties will include:
- Directing and controlling traffic at construction sites or other locations as required
- Setting up traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades to ensure the safety of workers and the public
- Communicating with drivers and pedestrians to provide instructions and ensure compliance with traffic regulations
- Monitoring traffic flow and adjust traffic control measures as necessary to maintain a smooth and safe flow of vehicles
- Reporting any incidents, accidents, or violations to the appropriate authorities
- Working closely with construction crews and other personnel to coordinate traffic control activities
Training/certification and equipment are supplied by Southern Maine Temps
Transportation is nice to have but not necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
- Year round work
