Tedford Housing is currently hiring temporary, unbenefited per diem overnight Warming Center staff.
The Warming Center will be open from November 25, 2024 through April 15, 2025, seven nights a week.
This is a temporary, unbenefited, overnight staffing position with 12-hour shifts from 8:00 pm to 8:00 am. Rate of pay is $23 per hour.
The Warming Center staff are an integral part of running this critical, overnight resource for those in need of a safe place to keep warm during the winter months. Staff will maintain a safety presence and contribute to the ongoing operation of the program overall. Staff will conduct basic client intakes, provide orientation to those entering the warming center, ensure the availability of prepared food and drinks, help keep the center organized, and serve as a point of contact for guests in accessing resources and in emergency situations.
Tedford Housing is looking for an organized and energetic team member demonstrating good judgement, a positive attitude, flexibility and a commitment to the mission of Tedford to empower people to move from homelessness to home.
The position is ideal for the person who is looking for overnight shifts on a per diem basis and for those looking to begin or to expand their experience and skills in a human services setting.
One year of experience in social services is preferred with a minimum of a high school or GED education.
The Warming Center Staff position is a temporary, unbenefited, overnight per diem position, with 12-hour shifts, at the rate of pay of $23 per hour.
The Warming Center will be open from November 25, 2024 through April 15, 2025.
