Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental clinic team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in maintaining patients' oral health and promoting a positive patient experience. You will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, conducting thorough oral examinations, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
Duties:
- Conduct patient assessments to identify oral health issues and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Procedures include: prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, root planing, debridement, application of fluoride treatments, and application of protective sealants, administering local anesthetics, and taking X-rays.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines for confidentiality and privacy.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMRs) systems to document patient visits and treatment plans.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
- Stay current with the latest dental technology, techniques, and best practices.
- Perform dental assisting duties, including preparing dental impressions and taking intraoral photos.
- Maintain a clean and organized dental clinic, adhering to OSHA guidelines for infection control.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Proficiency in medical documentation and HIPAA compliance.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dental clinic operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient care and safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, dentists, and other dental professionals.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
