We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting a respectful and inclusive environment for all students.
- Collaborate with special education staff to support students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities.
- Provide early intervention strategies for students who require additional support in literacy education.
- Prepare students for standardized testing by implementing targeted review sessions.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and progress.
- Participate in curriculum development initiatives to enhance educational offerings within the school.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of literacy education principles and practices.
- Experience in private school settings is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in lesson planning and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to work effectively with students who have disabilities and provide necessary accommodations.
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies and their application in the classroom.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in standardized testing preparation and administration is a plus.
