Duties:

- Utilize medical billing systems to obtain necessary medical documentation. (training)

- Review and process medical billing records.

- Assign appropriate medical codes using ICD-10 coding systems (training).

- Maintain patient accounts, including billing inquiries and payments.

- Collaborate with medical staff on patient accounts.

- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and insurance guidelines (training).

Qualifications:

- Understanding of medical terminology.

-Exposure to medical billing and coding is a positive.

- Knowledge of medical office procedures and electronic health records.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
