Job Summary
We are a Spanish & French Brasserie located in the West End of Portland. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Individual to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
Use the POS systems.
Deliver food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation and quality.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
Adhere to all food safety guidelines and sanitation standards during food handling and preparation.
Assist with cash handling, including processing payments accurately through the POS system.
Provide support to host/host as needed, including managing reservations thru RESY

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems, we will train you.
Good time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and guest relations.
Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
