Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Skilled Injection Mold Maker to support our growing mold manufacturing operations. This individual will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining high-precision plastic injection molds. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to both learn and share knowledge.

This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and repair high-precision plastic injection molds to exact specifications
Program and operate CNC machinery with precision, efficiency and safety
Utilize CAD/CAM software (Mastercam or Cimatron preferred)
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
Use precision measuring equipment to verify part accuracy
Set up and operate various machine tools including lathes, mills, saws, grinders, and EDMs
Inspect completed parts to ensure conformance with specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Perform additional tasks as needed to meet customer and production needs

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
2-year technical degree in Tool & Die, Machining, or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing tool room environment
Strong knowledge of plastic injection mold making preferred
Program and operate CNC machinery (Required)
Proficient with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam/Cimatron)
Solid understanding of machining and toolroom equipment
Self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning and improvement
Strong commitment to teamwork, safety, and quality
