Duties

Safely operate a box truck to complete delivery routes.
Load and unload goods using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety.
Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet scheduled delivery times.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries.
Verify shipment contents against delivery paperwork, ensuring accuracy before departure.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.

Experience

Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred, especially with route driving responsibilities.
Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with loading/unloading procedures and equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
Valid Maine driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience operating box trucks is desirable.
Physical ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) occasionally and perform moving tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
