Position Summary
The General Manager will be responsible for the effective management and coordination of all office, manufacturing, and field service operations. Responsibilities include supervision of other managers and subordinates as outlined in the company organizational chart. Develop and administer programs and activities to meet established company customer service levels. The General Manager has profit and loss responsibilities. This position will report directly to the President of the company.
Essential Functions
Management and oversight of all day-to-day operations. Oversee purchasing, manufacturing, quality and technology functions through Supervisors. Management of building and premises.
Principal Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all functional responsibilities between office, manufacturing, and shipping/receiving (warehouse operations).
- Oversee company and customer related policies and issues.
- Support the territory managers with product, pricing, engineering, and related customer activities.
- Interface with Sales Manager.
- Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of product pricing levels and contract pricing schedules.
- Coordinate continuous employee job training, both internal and external programs with the HR Generalist and Office Manager.
- This position requires the direct supervision of office and shop managers, as well as all field supervisors and office employees. Must work closely with the sales team to achieve goals and objectives.
Job Qualifications
- At least 5 years of relative experience in a related industry.
- A high school diploma is required, and additional higher education completion is desired.
- Extensive knowledge of ERP Systems and PC skills required.
