Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused Loan Officer Assistant to support our loan officers in processing and managing loan applications. This role involves assisting with administrative tasks, collecting documentation, communicating with clients, and ensuring the smooth flow of the loan process from application through closing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist loan officers in managing client files and keeping records up to date.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide status updates.
- Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy.
- Submit completed applications and required documents to processors or underwriters.
- Track deadlines and ensure all loan-related milestones are met on schedule.
- Schedule client appointments and follow-ups as needed.
- Maintain and update CRM systems and other loan software tools.
- Coordinate with realtors, title companies, and other third-party professionals.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and referral partners.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Prior experience in mortgage or banking/lending industry is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with loan origination systems (e.g., LendingPad, Encompass, Calyx) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Discretion with handling confidential financial information.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of current lending regulations and compliance standards.
- Customer service or sales support experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,584.33 - $66,101.56 per year
