Position Overview:
We’re looking for a part-time Member Development to be the first point of contact for prospective members. This role is responsible for leading potential members through the onboarding process, conducting free intro sessions, and ensuring a smooth and engaging experience that drives both conversions and long-term member satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct introductory sessions and facility tours for prospective members.
Guide new leads through the onboarding process with clarity and enthusiasm.
Build strong relationships with prospects and new members to drive engagement.
Track and manage follow-ups with leads to increase conversion rates.
Collaborate with the coaching team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to classes.
Use CRM tools or tracking systems to maintain accurate records of leads and new sign-ups.
Support retention efforts through ongoing check-ins and member engagement strategies.
Represent the Beacon brand with professionalism and positivity.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or membership-based roles (fitness industry experience a plus).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Comfortable with phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a strong follow-through.
Passionate about fitness and helping others find a community they love.
Availability to work part-time hours
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $20–$62.50/hour (based on role and experience)
