SCPM is currently seeking a CAREGIVER HOURS-Cultivation Technician to be responsible for cannabis plant care in all stages of growth not limited to but including germination, propagation, vegetative stages, flowering, and harvest.
Responsibilities Include:
Ensuring that compliance with state regulations and company policies are being met
Inputting plant movement, harvesting, trimming, and all required information in METRC and various other data collection platforms
Packaging and weighing product with quality, accuracy, and consistency
General upkeep of facility by sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning equipment, wiping down tables, removing trash, etc
Cleaning, sanitation, and setup of all cultivation areas
Upkeep maintenance and proper care of equipment
Assist in the day-to-day functions of the grow facility including propagation, vegetation, flower, and harvest, drying, and trimming responsibilities.
Applying foliar feeds and other sprays when directed
Assist in trellising, pruning, shaping, and training cannabis plants
Harvesting, trimming and packaging all plant material
Reporting to manager any plants that show stress, diseases, pests
Communicating through appropriate established channels based upon topic and audience
Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Strong detail-oriented and resourceful mindset.
Physical and mental aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of grow facility, including lifting 50 lbs or more.
Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative, and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense, and resourcefulness.
Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information.
Must understand and comply with the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Salisbury Cultivation and Product Manufacturing.
Must have a solid understanding of the Cannabis laws, rules and regulations and passion to further their understanding and knowledge of the industry and the laws.
Additional Requirements:
Must pass all required background checks.
Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
Must have a have valid driver's license.
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
Must be approved by the state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry.
Must have reliable transportation.
