Part-Time Mushroom Production and Delivery Person
Work closely with the Operations Manager on daily tasks in the mushroom-growing facility, kitchen, and harvesting room. Work closely with the Operations Manager on tasks to fulfill weekly orders, packaging, and the delivery process.
Responsible for harvesting mushrooms per requirements. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, delivering mushrooms to various locations on a weekly basis. Follow company protocols on driving safety and interacting with customers. Must be able to regularly lift up to 60lbs, maneuver up and down stairs and on uneven pavement while carrying large orders, remain organized and on task, and follow individual customers’ delivery instructions.
Main Duties:
Harvest mushrooms per product quality requirements.
Ensure that the products presented are of the highest possible standard.
Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with Timberwoods Farm and state regulations.
Assist with packaging orders before delivery as needed.
Load packed orders into the delivery vehicle.
Adhere to each customer’s delivery instructions and preferences.
Customer contact: handing off orders, collecting reusable crates, and occasionally collecting customer payments.
Navigating and driving in urban and rural areas within an 80-mile radius.
Experience and Qualifications
Clean driving record and background check.
Compensation
$18/Hr with opportunity for advancement.
