This is a part -time position every Thursday from 7:45-Noon with occasional coverage for the full time therapist when she is on vacation, 3-4 times per year. This is a contracted employee job, paid by the patient, with roughly 7 patients every Thursday. We pay weekly, and this is a per patient re-imbrusement. Please email for exact details.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site position for a Massage Therapist located in Lewiston, ME. The Massage Therapist will provide a range of therapeutic services, including trigger point therapy, myofacial release and soft tissue mobilization. Responsibilities include comminication with the doctor and patient to document treatment and results, as well as adhering to the patint's care plan. This therapy is combined along with their chiropactic care to offer the patient optimum functional results and reduce pain, tenderness and myospasms. This is a great opportunity for regular income while gaining great experience working with the doctor here.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in neuro muscular re-educaiton, trigger point therapy and myofascial release.
- Strong skills in Customer Service to ensure a professional and positive experience for all clients
- Expertise in Stress Management to help clients improve wellness and relieve physical tension
- State licensure or certification in massage therapy
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
