United Ambulance is seeking applications for a full time Education Manager for United Training Center. The application process will be open until the position is filled.
Purpose of position: An individual in this position is primarily responsible for the development, deployment, and completion of educational projects. Directly responsible for planning, coordinating, directing, and conducting employee training and development programs, new employee orientation, and individual remediation efforts. Responsible for overseeing content, delivery and quality of EMS education courses offered by the Training Center, as well as overseeing and maintaining full accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Baccalaureate Degree Program (relating to job responsibilities)
- Must be licensed at the Paramedic level
- National Registry Paramedic Certification
- Maine EMS Instructor Coordinator License, or eligible. If eligible, must be certified as a Paramedic level IC within three (3) months of hire
- BLS/First-Aid Instructor
- ACLS certified
- PALS certified
· PHTLS certified or equivalent
Desired Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Master’s Program (relating to job responsibilities)
- EVOS Instructor
- ACLS Instructor
- PALS Instructor
- PIFT Instructor
- PHTLS Instructor
- Other Instructor certifications as applicable
