We are seeking a motivated Helper Electrician to join our electrical team for projects in the Portland and Southern Maine region. In this role, you will assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction sites and industrial facilities. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will contribute significantly to the successful completion of projects, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Projects vary and may entail electrical installations, panel work, long interior conduits, trenching exterior conduit and setting generators and cleanup. Will work under the supervision of a licensed Master Electrician.

Seeking qualified candidates with:
-At least one year of Electrical Experience
-Maine Helper Electrician License
-Basic hand and power tools
-Must be punctual, professional, and able to take direction well
Responsibilities:
-Support licensed electricians by handing tools, materials, and equipment needed for electrical installations and repairs
-Assist with the installation of electrical wiring, conduit, and fixtures following blueprints and schematics
-Help with the setup and teardown of construction sites, including framing carpentry tasks as needed
-Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform basic electrical tasks under supervision
-Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to assist in project execution
-Conduct routine inspections of low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards
-Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Skills:
-Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly desirable
-Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices
-Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
-Basic understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
-Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills
-Knowledge of NEC standards applicable to residential, commercial, or industrial wiring projects
-Strong communication skills with an eagerness to learn from experienced electricians
