THE ROLE
We're looking for skilled painters with a strong eye for detail and a genuine interest in high end finishes — someone who can execute varying scope responsibilities independently/with a team, uphold the Lavoie Architectural standard on-site, and help develop the next generation of applicators as the team grows.
If you have painting experience and want to move beyond standard residential work into a higher-craft environment — with fair pay, and the chance to build a long-term career in specialty finishing — this is for you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
– Execute cabinet-grade trim and millwork finishing to Lavoie Architectural standard
– Prepare surfaces correctly
— Skim coat, prime, and build coats as required
– Apply brush, roller, and airless spray techniques as needed per project
– Conduct quality checks on your own work and your crew's
– Represent Lavoie Architectural professionally on every job site
– Communicate clearly with the operations manager on progress and issues
WHAT YOU BRING
– 3+ years of professional painting experience
– Strong brush and cut-in technique
– Any experience with limewash, mineral paint, interior stain is a strong advantage
– Spray experience
– Reliable, punctual, and genuinely detail-oriented
– Comfortable leading on-site and working independently
– Valid driver's licence
– Passion for the craft
