MaineHealth Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine is seeking a Painter to join our team! As a Full-Time Painter, you’ll play a crucial role in creating clean, welcoming, safe spaces across our healthcare facilities. Your craftsmanship will support the healing environment our patients deserve—and the workplace our employees can take pride in.
What You’ll Do
• Prepare, paint, and finish interior and exterior surfaces across a variety of clinical and administrative spaces
• Perform surface inspections, drywall patching, priming, varnishing, and touch up work
• Collaborate with Facilities team members to prioritize projects and minimize disruption to patient care
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and safe work practices
• Provide high-quality workmanship that aligns with MaineHealth brand and safety standards
What We’re Looking For
• Experience in professional painting, including surface prep and finishing techniques
• Understanding of paints, stains, coatings, and proper application methods
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
