At Croft, we produce panelized prefab buildings from natural materials. We're half design firm, half production powerhouse, and we're growing fast!
We're looking for an exceptional
Senior Designer — someone whose design instincts raise the bar for everyone around them and who brings the full package: beautiful craft, deep building science literacy, sharp client instincts, and the communication skills to represent Croft with warmth and authority at every turn.
This is a project-owning role. You'll lead custom client work from first conversation through design completion, drive the evolution of Croft's library of kit offerings, and stay involved through construction administration. You'll work closely across our design, production, and sales teams.
What You'll Bring
- Exceptional design ability — you are the gold standard!
- Fluency in high-performance building: airtightness, vapor control, foundations, HVAC, building code
- AutoCAD and SketchUp proficiency; a developed workflow from drafting to 3D rendering
- Top-notch written and verbal communication
- Strong client-facing skills and the ability to shepherd people toward smart, efficient, Croft-sensible design
- Experience taking projects from concept to full architectural set (licensed architect strongly preferred)
- Comfort in a scrappy, flat-structured, fast-moving company that is building its systems in real time
