Wage/Salary: Starting at $16.00 an hour with piece rate on strawberries – no cap on piece rate.
SUMMARY
Looking for some extra income this summer? Do you enjoy working with your hands and getting paid to be outside with some great people? If you though, “Yeah that sounds great!” Then being a Seasonal Harvester at Pineland Farms might be right up your alley. Our Produce division cultivates 300 acres of fruit and vegetable crops. The harvest season begins in June with strawberries. The strawberry harvest runs from June through July. A piece rate is offered with strawberries, a fast picker can earn upwards of $24.00 an hour with no cap! After strawberries we transition to subsequent produce (i.e. Cucumbers, beans, peppers, squash etc.) harvesting and processing runs through October.
This position is a rolling hire, if you are not available until later in the season, we likely will still be looking for help. Apply today and we can discuss your seasonal availability. Applicants must be 16 by June 13th, 2026. If applicant is not 16 by June 16th, 2026, we will ask to wait until next year to join our crew.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Harvest crops as they become available.
- 100% working outside.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Mornings and weekend availability required with a start time at 5:50 AM; finish most days by noon.
- On-the-job training will be provided. Employees must be willing to follow training guidelines to harvest food safely for employees and consumers
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and understand directions, interpret documents such as safety rules, and procedure manuals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
