Position Overview:
The Dingley Press is seeking an outgoing and highly detailed individual to join our team as a Customer Service Account Manager. This key role serves as the primary contact for a group of customers and is also responsible for preparing manufacturing instructions and directing each job to completion. To be successful in this role you must be a self-starter, able to work independently and be an excellent communicator. (This position is NOT a remote position)
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage individual customer accounts and service the customer’s needs.
- Work with sales to coordinate all details of a catalog event.
- Contact customers regarding upcoming catalog events.
- Review contracts, specifications, special requirements, schedules and file formats with the customer as part of the planning process.
- Review customers print instructions
- Prepare and submit clear and accurate instructions for production.
- Work with vendors for outside services.
- Update Work-In-Progress, Sales-Projections and Distribution Reports accurately and on-time.
- Meet manufacturing scheduling dates.
- Coordinate customer visits.
- Monitor progress during manufacturing and confer with customers throughout production to keep them informed of status of job.
- Relay issues or problems to the customer in a timely and professional manner.
- Resolve inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Follow-up with the customer for feedback after each catalog event.
Qualification/ Requirements: Must have an Associate’s degree; or 2 years of related Customer Service experience.
- Exceptional communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
- Must possess a positive and outgoing personality.
- Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook experience.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Effectively present information in a group situation.
- Must be thorough and detail oriented.
- Available for response 24/7
- Willing to meet occasional travel requirements
- Perform additional duties as required
- Must be able to speak and understand clear English.
