Overview:
Sunday River is looking for an Accounts Receivable & Lodging Accountant to join our accounting team. This position reports to the vice president and controller and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting weekly and monthly deadlines. A moderate amount of data entry and repetitive tasks are expected.
The Accounts Receivable & Lodging Accountant is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with multiple departments across the resort.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile all Group, Leisure, and Conference billings - must be timely and accurate

Work with multiple departments and systems for billing purposes

Maintain file of all group invoices

General Accounts Receivable

Verify daily room rates are at or above floor rates

Generate daily SMS upload

Daily Reconciliation of clearing accounts

Review daily refund and package adjustment requests

Generate monthly rental income statements & checks

Invoice data entry for association accounting

Post HOA & Property Tax payments

Assist with summer cash room operations and deposits

Work weekends and some holidays as business dictates

Perform other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a business-related field preferred

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of related experience

A combination of education and work experience may fulfil the above requirements

Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Experience with General Ledger software a plus

Wage range of $25 to $29 per hour, based on experience and qualifications, with room for professional growth and advancement.
