Job Overview
Busy general dentist practice seeking an experienced dental assistant to join our team. Our newly renovated office boasts state of the art technology and incredible views of Pleasant Mountain. Must be comfortable with all phases of chair-side assisting including: four handed dentistry, taking x-rays, sterilization, operatory set up/breakdown while following infection control guidelines. Ideal candidate would be experienced, provide high level of patient care, be a reliable team player, and have ability to multi-task. Must have current radiology license. Working hours are between 7am-5pm Tuesday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and prepare patients for treatment
- Chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures
- Digital radiographs
- Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments
- Accurately chart patient records and treatment while using Dentrix
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA
- Maintain dental supply inventory
- Perform other related job duties as assigned
Pay: $25.00 - $37.00 per hour
