KITCHEN PRODUCTION STAFF JOB DESCRIPTION
COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Located in Southern Maine, we provide processing and edible manufacturing services to certified medical and recreational stores. Our goal is to provide high quality edibles and extracts for cannabis consumers. Our edibles are thoughtfully crafted using quality concentrates and organic ingredients. We use pure ice and water to create our solventless extracts. This all-natural process allows us to preserve the cannabinoid and terpene profile of the flower.
We are seeking a motivated individual to assist with production of high quality, edible cannabis products. The ideal candidate would have a background working in confections, organizational skills, detail orientation, is highly dependable, and has a passion for working hands-on in the cannabis industry and is available for full time hours. Responsibilities:
• Assist in the creation and production of large batches of Cannabis Edibles
• Prepare ingredients and workspace for cooking production
• Ability to be trained on various activities, machines, and systems
• Ability to do monotonous jobs without making errors (such as packaging and labeling of products)
• Prepare and clean workspaces, equipment, and materials daily
• Wash and sterilize Kitchen and equipment
• Prepare samples to be sent to lab
• Follow The Hashery Kitchen SOP’s, Batch Records, Log’s, and associated Forms/Documents
• Awareness and adherence to HACCP, Food Safety, and QA regulations
• Strict adherence to department SOPs and recipes
• Maintain proper PPE and hygiene
• Maintain relevant training as new products are introduced
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Must be a Maine resident
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must pass a background check per Maine Office of Marijuana Policy requirements
• Must be able to react quickly in high stress environments
• Ability to work with a team and have a sense of urgency
• Ability to stand on feet for long hours
• Ability to accurately follow recipes and measurements
• Servsafe Certified is ideal, but not required.
• IIC card not required, but preferred
