NORTHEAST VEGETATION & MOSQUITO CONTROL (NVMC) is hiring seasonal Field Technicians for the current season — full-time outdoor work across New Hampshire and southern Maine.
If you'd rather be outside than at a desk, this is real, hands-on work with a small, reliable crew — mosquito control and vegetation management at job sites across local communities. You'll train alongside experienced crew members, and once you're up to speed, you'll handle job sites both with the team and independently, depending on the day.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Perform mosquito control treatments at job sites across NH and southern Maine
Carry out vegetation management work (clearing, treating, maintaining)
Travel between job sites — with a small crew during training and on larger jobs, and independently at other times
Maintain equipment and follow safety protocols
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
18 or older with a valid driver's license
Dependable, on time, and ready for physical outdoor work
Comfortable working both on a team and on your own
No prior experience required — we'll train the right person
Bonus if you have experience in forestry, land management, right-of-way work, conservation crews, pest control, or agricultural field work
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
$18-$22 per hour, depending on experience
Full-time, seasonal through November
Potential to continue beyond the season for the right candidate
