Two Fat Cats Bakery is looking for a seasonal (June - December), part-time (20-24) baker to join our team. This position works at our Portland location at 195 Lancaster, our main kitchen . This is a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday work schedule, 4am - 12pm.
Two Fat Cats Bakery is a small, but dynamic bakery specializing in pies and cakes. Recognized as one of the best pie bakeries in the United States, the bakery is fast-paced, team-focused and inclusive.
This position works with the morning team to produce a variety of cake and cookie batters, morning pastries and bread. Responsibilities include all aspects of baking from making batters and frostings to baking bread. Duties include:
following recipes
accurate measuring and weighing
consistency and efficiency in production
adherence to safety protocols
cleanliness in the kitchen and our work environment
We are searching for a team member who is good tempered and polite, has a sense of humor, attention to detail, loves to bake, and enjoys working as part of a team. We require all employees to have an eye for quality, so taking pride in your work is important. Previous baking experience is required.
