SUMMARY
Administers occupional therapy trement to program participants according to a program plan developed by a licensed occupional therapist.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to sisfactorily perform each essential function listed below.
•Assures all program participants receive scheduled occupional therapy trements and documents therapy sessions.
•Performs active, passive and/or resistive therapeutic exercises, general therapy principles on program participants.
•Demonstres knowledge of indicions and contra-indicions of heing modalities and techniques.
•Fabrices approprie splints under instruction of occupional therapist and instructs program participant in splint wear and care.
•Trains program participants in homebound and community level, including endurance training.
•Maintains a good working knowledge of occupional therapy equipment and therapeutic exercise trements.
•Confers with staff members and other health care members to exchange, discuss and evalue program participant informion for modifying and coordining current trement program and participes in trement planning with trans-disciplinary team as requested. Adheres to ethics of confidentiality.
•Takes inventory of current occupional therapy equipment and confers with department regarding current stus and future needs. Requests supplies as needed.
•Maintains or checks daily billing logs for program participants.
•Follows daily scheduling pterns, communices with staff, and adjusts schedules as needed for flexibility.
•Performs other reled duties and activities as required.

Minimum Knowledge and Skills required by the Job
The requirements listed below are representive of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job.
Educion and Experience:
•High School Diploma and gradue of an accredited COTA program with A.A.S. in OT
•Two years experience in neuro–rehabilition preferred
Certifices, Licenses, and Registrions:
•Licensed as COTA/L in Ste.

Physical Requirements:
•Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
