Sodexo's Campus Segment is seeking a General Manager 4 – Food to lead dining operions the University of Maine Farmington (UMF). UMF is a vibrant public liberal arts college serving approximely 1,500 undergradue students in the scenic foothills of western Maine. This highly visible role oversees all aspects of campus dining, including Resident Dining, Retail, Cering, and Summer Conferences. The ideal leader will drive operional excellence, creivity, financial performance, and strong client and community relionships.
The General Manager 4 – Food serves as the senior on-site leader for the UMF Dining Program. You will guide a talented team, partner closely with university stakeholders, and ensure a positive dining experience for students, faculty, staff, and guests. This position requires a stregic thinker with strong communicion, leadership, and hospitality skills who can lead a multifaceted and evolving dining program.

- Lead and oversee all dining operions: resident dining, retail concepts, cering services, and summer conference support.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, safety, and customer service across all service areas.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost controls.
- Develop, mentor, and support a diverse team of frontline managers and hourly staff.
- Build and maintain strong client relionships with UMF leadership and campus partners.
- Implement innovive dining programs, student-centered initiives, and sustainability efforts.
- Uphold operional compliance, including food safety, sanition, and regulory guidelines.
- Cree a welcoming, inclusive dining environment th reflects UMF’s values and enhances the overall student experience.
