HIRING Subcontractors (Co-contractors?)
Forrest Gardens
Gardens, Perennials & Forest Landscaping
Midcoast region, almost all my clients are on the shore in the Lincoln County area.
Part-time, very flexible hours tho routine is preferred, $30-$50/hr or more depending on experience & the project. Must provide your own basic tools & gear & transport, tho tool & ride-sharing is welcome & encouraged to save room at job sites.
Gardening requires care/interest in plants,.. the best horticulturists and botanists are well aware there is always more to learn, so please come with an ability to listen & take direction from the plants and from the people who are familiar with them. Attention to detail is a MUST: We are called upon to care for specialty gardens that are critical habitat for rare, threatened, and endangered species. We care for our pollinators and our soil biome. Gentleness is our prerogative, responsibility, and honor.
While initial work may require direction, my preference is that you become independent with the clients you regularly care for. I'm in this to meet new species to care for and to build terraced food forest landscapes. I am more of a network than an employer.
*also looking to network with lawn care people & arborists
